The m+p VibPilot is a powerful and compact 4- or 8-channel measurement front end that has been specially developed for precise requirements in vibration testing, vibration analysis and
process measurement technology. Thanks to perfect integration with the m+p VibControl, m+p Analyzer and m+p Coda software solutions, the VibPilot is suitable for a wide range of applications - from simple tests to highly complex measurement tasks in the laboratory or on the test bench.

Versatile use - from the laboratory to the vehicle

The m+p VibPilot is designed for use in a wide range of conditions - whether in an air-conditioned laboratory, on the shop floor or mobile in a vehicle. The compact, Robust housing is dust-proof and enables reliable operation even under harsh industrial conditions. Thanks to the AC or DC supply (e.g. via vehicle battery) and the optional internal battery, operation is flexible and location-independent. The fanless design ensures silent operation, ideal for noise-sensitive measuring environments.

Precise measurement technology in the smallest space

With 4 or 8 analog-to-digital converted input channels (24 bit, 204.8 kHz sample rate), the m+p VibPilot offers alias-protected measurements in a frequency domain up to 80 kHz with a
spur-free dynamic range of over 120 dB. The integrated IEPE sensor supply and TEDS support enable automatic detection and configuration of connected sensors - ideal for fast
setups and reliable measurement results. Two high-precision source output channels (24 bit) allow a clean signal output; in the event of a power failure, a controlled shutdown takes place.

Faults immediately visible - thanks to integrated LED indicators

The m+p VibPilot has clearly visible LED indicators on the front panel to support rapid fault diagnosis. These immediately show the operating status, for example in the event of a
missing LAN connection, interrupted power supply or problems with the IEPE support. A defective sensor cable or a missing data connection is detected at a glance - this saves time during commissioning and reduces downtime during test operation.

Flexible channel selection for high uptime

The control channel for the vibration test can be freely selected. If an input channel fails, for example, another channel can simply be defined for control - without the VibPilot having to
be repaired or replaced immediately. This increases operational reliability and avoids unnecessary test delays.

Scalable for growing requirements

For test setups with higher channel requirements, several m+p VibPilot devices (e.g. 6 units for up to 48 channels) can be synchronized via a master clock. This allows maximum
flexibility: the user can use devices individually for smaller projects or combine them without sacrificing performance.

Digital inputs and outputs for system integration

The m+p VibPilot has eight digital inputs and eight digital outputs - allowing external components such as climatic chambers, relays, warning lamps or power amplifiers to be
directly controlled or monitored. Two tacho inputs add to the versatility, for example for RPM or event recording. These interfaces make the device excellent for automated test benches and combined vibration, climate or function tests.

Powerful data processing in real-time

An integrated DSP (Digital Signal Processor) enables direct, powerful real-time processing of signals - the ideal prerequisite for vibration control, spectral analysis or structural tests with the highest requirements in terms of accuracy and response time.
